This book is a classic girl meets boy, boy meets girl story. Except, girl and boy have troubled pasts.
It's best to go into this book knowing very little, so we'll leave you there. Unless you want to know a little more...

This book was a VERY cute romance between an awkward girl and a perfect-Asian boy. I really loved this book; it was original and cute. I definitely suggest this book to everyone! It's adorable; two misfits who almost know each other better than they know themselves. Rainbow Rowell really knows how to take the awkward teenage years and make a cute relationship between two very unique (don't know a good word to put in there) people. Oh and how it all started! The start is definitely orignial- who thought? a girl being bullied on the bus. Parks parents...can I just give a round of applause for his awesome Asian mom? I mean...I love her!
The only thing I didn't like so much was how cliche the romance was. Everyone knows what's going to happen: they hold hands, they kiss, they love each other. I thought that maybe that part could be twisted around a little. Maybe even put in a plot twist. But as for the rating; On a scale from 1-5 I would give this book a 4.5!!! I was really good. Put this on your book list.
!!!!!!!!!!! SPOILERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tina:
Tina, though she is awful and mean at the beginning-like seriously, no one likes her- she helps Eleanor when she's trying to run away from her dad.
Richie:
Eleanor's step-dad. Yes, the cruel one. He was the one writing mean notes on Eleanor's things. She finds out and tries to run away from him but he goes out searching for her. Don't trust anything he does.
Eleanor:
Eleanor runs away from her dad and goes to stay with her aunt and uncle. She and Park sends letters to each other back and forth. The last letter she sends to him; last chapter; last sentence. It says it had three words on it. Maybe it could've been "I love you", but also, there's another thing it could've been. But my guess is that it was "Nothing Ever Ends" from the comic strip that Park let her borrow....just a theory.
