The Iron Butterfly series really drew me in because I LOVE fantasy books. The story is about a young girl, Thalia, who is being experimented on by her enemies, the Sephtori. She is the only one who survives her tests. One day a boy, Kael, breaks in and rescues her. She has lost the memories of her past, but she finds two men who help her recover.
The book has simple sentences, but sooo many plot twists and lots of adventure. It also has romance and lets face it-that's everyone's favorite, right? Don't try to deny it. On of a scale from 1-5 I would rate this a BIG, FAT FIVE!!! I really enjoyed reading this book series, from the very start of the book to the very end I was captured within the pages. It was VERY hard to put the book down when I had to leave the house.
-SPOILERS!!!!!!!!- Don't read past this point if you don't want things spoiled.
Kael-
Isn't it strange that Kael is ALWAYS around when Thalia is in trouble? Well there's a reason. When he was being tested on, they attached Kael to Thalia. It is impossible for Kael to be out of a few miles in distance from Thalia without having extreme pain. He has to follow her everywhere, he always has to be with her......hint hint. What does this mean? They probably fall in love? yep. He can't live without her? yep. They have a future? yep. Neither of them die? You'll have to read for yourself.
